The last few years have seen an explosion in social networking with sites like Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, YouTube and LinkedIn becoming hugely popular. More recently Twitter has become the media darling experiencing huge growth in traffic numbers.

This trend has also led to more and more businesses either using these channels or being exhorted to adopt them by marketers, bloggers and media commentators. But what do these channels actually offer? Should brands be using them to attract, retain and grow customer relationships? And what do you do when negative conversations take place?

About the speaker

Jason Navon is the MD and owner of Clarity Digital one of the first dedicated digital planning and reporting agencies in the UK. Clarity’s approach is simple – with an increasingly complex digital landscape we work with clients to understand their objectives and their audiences. We then develop tailored online marketing programmes designed to deliver improved ROI.

Prior to setting up the agency Jason spend 10 years working for digital agencies where he worked in a range of account & planning roles for clients in sectors such as automotive, B2B, consumer electronics, fashion, FMCG, retail and travel.
