Social Media and The Ministry of Sound

Ben Stroud is currently responsible for all Ministry of Sound's social media. In just a couple of months he took the club's Twitter followers from 1,000 to 18,000
and there are similar stories for Ministry's Facebook and MySpace pages.

Ben sees social media as an integral part of an overall marketing strategy and we're
excited that he's on board to deliver a masterclass and Q&A's on a much under-used element of marketing.
Ben will walk through the Ministry of Sound's history, their recent brand diversification and reveal the tools and methods he has used to increase the super club's online presence.
About Ben
Ben Stroud is not a social media expert (he doesn’t like that title), but he has worked with brands and organisations such as Ministry of Sound as a coordinator to deliver social media strategies.

He has been instrumental in growing the giant dance brand’s online presence, tying in blogging and social media with traditional online and offline marketing campaigns to add over 120,000 fans to their cumulative social networks in just under a year. Ben believes that social media is a key part of the marketing mix, and that with the correct toolkit, any marketer can learn, scale and deliver a solution for the company they are working for without breaking their budget.

He is always willing to chat, present and share ideas regarding social media, and the role it has to play in organisations large and small!
