CIM Professional Diploma
The CIM Professional Diploma provides marketers with marketing skills at an operational level. You can choose to be assessed by exam or assignment.
Please note that you need an existing degree to start the programme.
There are four units you will need to study and pass to be awarded the CIM Diploma in Marketing as follows:
Programme format
You can choose to complete the units either by Exam or Assignment/project. You can also choose a mix of both exams and assignments.
The Exam route is available for any of the four course units. You will be taught over a twelve-week period attending sessions lasting 2.5 hours on alternative weeks. This allows you to easily complete two course units simultaneously and is particularly attractive if you are time poor.
To achieve the higher grades you will also need to read extensively, attempt practice exam questions and attend Masterclasses.
You will also be entitled to attend our special ‘Exam Confidence Booster’ session that provides a unique insight into the examiners mind and how you can programme your own mind to achieve extraordinary exam results.
Alternatively you can opt for the Assignment route for the first three course units.
You would be taught over six 2.5 hour sessions with ongoing personal tutor support. The assignment route is particularly attractive if you have struggled with exams in the past.
The Project route is available for the Marketing Management in Practice unit only at present. You complete the course through a combination of briefings, specific master classes and personal tutor support.
Assignments/projects are particularly attractive to employers (especially if they are funding the course) as they will be able to see tangible evidence of your studies.
