‘A Consumer Centric International marketer with over 25 years’ experience in FMCG, luxury, and niche market sectors. Karen has held Global Marketing positions with category leaders Gillette, Oral-B, Amway, and Diageo where driving transformation, re-shaping categories, and influencing customer behaviour in both emerging and developed markets were key responsibilities. Her career has also taken her into the luxury sector growing global market share for a number of Luxury brands including Selfridges and De Beers. This passion for luxury has been pursued within the educational sector where she lectures in Fashion business and Luxury Marketing.
Karen’s extensive experience of working within both larger and smaller company cultures, industry sectors and global markets including Asia, India, the US and Europe have provided her with a strong insight into marketing across the international landscape.
More recently Karen is applying her marketing expertise on a new business venture within the fine jewellery sector using a mixture of both her luxury knowledge, strong consumer understanding and best practices from the commercial worlds of FMCG. Karen is an inspirational and engaging speaker and has an infectious passion for excellence in everything she applies herself too.
